Talking while walking has so many advantages: it’s relaxing, talking goes more smoothly, and it’s super healthy! A welcome activity after a long day at the office ánd great for your Dutch.

We will walk through the Corversbos in ‘s Graveland (close to Hilversum), where it will be easy to keep 1,5 meter distance. Starting point: parking lot at Beresteinseweg 33, ‘s Graveland.
In case of typically Dutch weather (read: wet & windy) we can meet at the city center of Hilversum.

During this creative online conversation course your teacher Mylène will encourage you to have lots of chats. In a small group (max. 6 people) you will explore everyday topics, learn the basics of Dutch grammar and vocabulary and practice actively with what you learn. The focus of this course will be on speaking. We will practice with example dialogues, animations, spontaneous conversations, and fun online games. We will also spend some time on Dutch culture.

The course consists of 1 free intake by phone and 8 weekly lessons of 1,5 hours each. We will kick off on WEDNESDAY EVENING 7 APRIL from 6.30 - 8.00 pm.

Join our Intensive, coronaproof, Dutch Summer Course for Beginners and Beginners Plus in the first week of the summer holidays! Immerse yourself in Dutch for 5/6 days, on Monday 12 July, Tuesday 13 July, Wednesday 14 July, Friday 16 July and Saturday 17 July, 5 hours a day. On Thursday 17 July there will be no class so you can rest a bit to give your brain time to process the new knowledge and to recap what you’ve learned so far.

Each morning we will teach you online (over Zoom) all about basic Dutch grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. You will practice with the most important words and short sentences you need in daily life interactions. We’ll prepare you for the conversations you will have in the afternoon.

In the afternoon, we will take you to the centre of Hilversum to get to know the hotspots and practice what you learned in the morning session. This means real life conversations in different kinds of shops, at the market, in the supermarket, at the station etc. If you’re lucky, you might find yourself ordering an ice-cream in Dutch at Hilversum’s greatest and coolest ice cream shop Pistache🍦

We will end the course in style with a ‘gezellige’ picnic in the Hilversum woods.

Give your confidence a boost and join this interactive and advanced Dutch course. You will practice Dutch in several situations and contexts. Each lesson is designed as a workshop, with a clear goal and tools (vocab and grammar) to reach that goal. Don’t expect a lot of homework, but you usually will have to read a text or watch a video before each lesson.
