Speaking Dutch while learning about mobile photography

Are you a fan of photography and looking for a super cool (corona proof!) excursion this summer? Sign up for one of our Let’s Speak Dutch Photo Walks!

Our creative Dutch teacher Mylène Hanson and professional photographer Heleen Klop invite you to two unique, adventurous and most of all educational walks. While practicing Dutch and exploring gorgeous surroundings, you will learn how to take the most beautiful pics with your mobile phone.

We’re organizing two separate walks; one in Utrecht on 11 July and one in Nederhorst den Berg on 25 July.

Walk #1: Saturday 11 July, 2 pm - 4.30 pm: Utrecht City

We will be waiting for you at the parking lot next to the Centraal Museum, Nicolaaskerkhof in Utrecht. From there we will take you through the peaceful, photogenic southern part of the well-known Oudegracht. You will get to know the “werfkelder” at the level of the canals, the cute little houses in the “Zeven Steegjes” and the interesting building of the observatory “Sonnenborgh”. You will also learn about the city district’s secrets.

Walk #2: Saturday 25 July, 2 pm - 4.30 pm: Spiegelplas at Nederhorst den Berg

We will meet you at the parking lot at Dammerweg 3, Nederhorst den Berg, a picturesque village at the river De Vecht between Utrecht, Hilversum and Amsterdam. During this tour along typical Dutch landscapes, you will encounter a beautiful mill, the romantic Spiegelplas, sweet little beaches, plants, flowers and aquatic birds. Nederhorst also offers some perfect spots for typical Dutch pics.
